New research has revealed that autistic people experience an increased risk of a wide range of adverse outcomes.
A comprehensive review by experts at the University of Nottingham in collaboration with Nottingham Trent University analysed 134 reviews. The results highlight a spectrum of adverse outcomes for autistic people. The review, published in Frontiers in Psychiatry, serves as a pivotal step towards highlighting research, clinical practice and service planning priorities.
